“It was good.”

The bed was super comfy, and even though the hotel is older it still looked clean. The towel rack in front of the ice machine looked sloppy and got in the way when grabbing ice; I’d have liked a bench or a few chairs near the front door instead of just the picnic table. The front desk was chaotic in the morning with people eating breakfast, chatting, and checking out, making it hard to hear the staff.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The bathroom was tidy, but the tub lacked a drain cover for those who prefer a bath over a shower, and the hand grip around the tub was missing.

“Disappointing”

The location is good and close to town, but I’m extremely disappointed; I’m sitting in the hotel writing this and I’m unhappy with the service. The staff were not friendly; the lady at the desk seemed unhappy and didn’t make me feel welcome, and the room was even less pleasant. The door lacked extra lock features, which was unsettling for a solo traveler. There was a strange smell in the room, and I discovered no smoke detector—apparently it had been removed from the ceiling and not replaced. The room was not clean at all; the sheets were stained, the towels were dirty, and I had an uncomfortable stay, though I’m only staying one night.

“toilet paper and kleenex were not in room. The pool was too cold to get in. The outside shelter ok”

Breakfast hours were plenty, but the food was cold and unappetizing; I had to ask staff to add cream cheese to the refrigerator, and non‑caffeine coffee was unavailable.

“Excellent value for the investment”

The front desk staff was awesome both at check in and the next morning. The breakfast was amazing. Initially, only 1/3 roll of toilet paper in bathroom. This was fixed almost immediately
