I’ve never met such friendly and helpful customer service in a hotel in a long time; the young man who checked us in was very chatty, and the morning person—probably the manager—was also welcoming and friendly.

The staff were helpful and accommodating, but the first room wasn’t fully cleaned, one bed wasn’t fully made, and the carpet was stained, so we asked for a different room and they gladly helped; the second room smelled musty, had crickets and centipede‑like creatures crawling around, the carpet was stained again, and hairs were left in the sink, yet the beds weren’t too bad.
