The staff are very nice and the location is good, but there was a large construction site right outside the door during our stay.

Riad Mounir, a boutique oasis in Marrakech, sits 800 m from Medersa Ben Youssef and 900 m from the Marrakech Museum. Its 24‑hour front desk, free Wi‑Fi, and on‑site restaurant complement private rooms with ensuite showers, free toiletries, and hair dryers. Nearby Majorelle Gardens (1.1 km) and the Medina’s souks (1.2 km) offer cultural immersion, while Menara Airport lies just 5 km away.

We felt comfortable in the riad located in the old Medina. The staff were very friendly and caring; from the moment we arrived, Abdessamed welcomed us, handed us a brochure to explore Marrakech, and offered us mint tea. He also helped us set up the phone so we could use it, which was very useful for navigating the city. The breakfasts were hearty, and the dinners were flavorful and satisfying, so we had an excellent stay. A minor drawback was the lack of shower pressure and no window facing the outside in the room, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying our time.

The experience was good, but the arrival at the riad in the narrow lanes was a bit confusing.

We would definitely book again here. The room we shared was spacious enough for all three of us and the bathroom was large. Cleaning came every day without fail and fresh towels were always ready. The staff—Abdul Ghafoor, Adam, and Ayub—were professional, polite, and respectful. Breakfast was solid: omelet, pastries, tea. Dinner was a highlight, too filling, and only 15 euros per person, which even covered starter and dessert. The team went out of their way to serve breakfast early at 7:30 when we had to leave for excursions, instead of the usual 8‑10am, or they packed it for take‑away. Nights were quiet because the area is a bit outside the centre but still within walking distance. One night the weather kept us inside the riad, but we were starving and they offered bread and cake that were surprisingly sweet. When I had a sore throat a few days later, they gave me a flask of hot water to keep in my room for tea, since there’s no kettle. After check‑out we were able to leave our bags at reception because our flight was hours later, which felt like staying with friends. The only downside was that water isn’t free or included with breakfast—just a euro per bottle. The outside area is under construction, and the medina can be dusty, narrow, and hard to navigate, though that’s not the riad’s fault. Overall, the stay was amazing.
