Eremito, a digital‑detox retreat in Parrano, sits within the UNESCO Monte Peglia Biosphere Reserve and is B Corp‑certified. Guests enjoy a heated Turkish bath, jacuzzi, and silent, chant‑accompanied dinners. Full board offers vegetarian meals, wine, water, and herbal teas. A free jeep transports guests from a 700‑meter car park via an 8‑km unpaved woodland track. No Wi‑Fi, TV, or pets.

The location is wonderful and the facility is well‑maintained and unique. A day in Eremito is a simple yet rich and meaningful experience. Overall, it’s a unique and wonderful experience I’ll always carry in my heart (and might repeat in the future). The room cleanliness was completely lacking, and the common areas were practically nonexistent. I understand the need for adaptability, but hygiene should still be fundamental, especially given the non‑trivial cost of the stay. The staff’s persistent and sometimes loud chatter near the common areas disturbed the peace and silence we travelers sought. In general, there should be more attention and care for the guest.

Atmosphere, place, food, relaxation—everything was wonderful. The commute was a bit confusing, but I managed to find my way. ;)

The silence, the birdsong, the forest, the essentiality and elegance… I’ll miss this peace and this atmosphere! The meditation and prayer were moving thanks to Marcello and the beautiful chapel that “embraces” you.
