“Excellent location and charming, old school place with a friendly staff.”

This charming, old‑school hotel sits right in the heart of the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room had rustic details like wood beams and antique furniture, and the breakfast was amazing, served until 11 am. I also liked the noon check‑out time and free luggage storage, and the location is excellent for shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The only downsides were poor soundproofing—the room next door kept waking me up at 1 am or 2 am with loud talking—and the fact that there’s no reception staff in the building because the property is managed by another hotel nearby, which feels like a corporate cost‑saving move that erodes the warm vibe.

The breakfast and the setting were great, and the fact that it’s a modernist house added charm. However, the rooms are old and look like a 1950s hotel, with half‑size bathrooms, electric kettles, and antique wardrobes that haven’t been restored. The hotel itself is a satellite of Medium Romantic: it has no bar, breakfast, or game room—all those are at the other hotel. There’s no dedicated staff and no elevator, which is understandable given the building’s characteristics, but the high floors make carrying luggage up and down uncomfortable.

“Great location. Value for money. Comfortable”

The location was fantastic, it was clean and comfortable, and it had a lot of charm. Yes, it’s old and basic, but for what I paid and considering it’s a 1‑star hotel, I couldn’t complain. It was a bit loud at times because the doors and walls didn’t meet typical hotel standards, and I didn’t rate the breakfast—wishing I hadn’t added it to my stay.

Everything was great—prime location, stylish décor, and the room was really nice and spacious. I can’t think of anything negative.
