Situated on the edge of Chinatown, the place has an old‑style vibe with modern comforts and a courtyard surrounded by rooms. The garden feels tranquil, and I enjoyed the local breakfast and the private museum that tells the family’s history. The food court at the front of the compound added a nice evening atmosphere. My hot water wasn’t hot, and a low chair with a small table outside the room would be nice for relaxing.

The location, hospitality, and authentic, unique ambience were all great. The only issue was that the hot water didn’t work well; otherwise everything was fine.

Everything was perfect. The service was amazing and the staff are so caring. The place is beautiful, clean, and historical, and it’s close to the city of Lasem. Nothing at all was wrong, so I would highly recommend it to others.

The location is good, but it isn’t worth the price. The facilities are poor and dirty. Staff are slow and not proactive, only cleaning when asked. The room seemed unclean for a long time; even the bed sheets had stains (see my photo). The floor mat in the room is also very dirty.
