The location was great, the staff were excellent, the rooftop bar and pool were cool, and the rooms were fantastic.

Nice pool bar and helpful staff when something went wrong, and my sons liked the fruit salads and the mini spa in the room jacuzzi bath; the breakfast spread was fairly good. The first night we were in a room overlooking a busy intersection and couldn’t sleep for half the night, so the staff moved us to an inward‑facing room that was much better. Breakfast felt cramped – a lady on the table next to us sneezed all over our food and made us sick. The rooms looked a bit dated and the area felt run down, and the gym had good equipment but a very limited range, which isn’t what I’d expect from the Melia brand.
