“A very disappointing experience.”

The property was in bad shape with no maintenance at all. My room had no hot water for the shower, the tub had burn marks, and the whole room smelled like smoke. In the pool area the hot‑tub jets were dead and the water looked rusty and stained.

The hot tub was nasty, the pool was so-so cold, the sauna was just a storage area, and when I went down at 9:30am there was nothing for breakfast.

“Don't book this hotel!”

The place was well located. The hot tub had no heat, the pool was freezing, and some lights in the rooms didn’t work. I held my granddaughter’s 10th birthday party there so they could swim, about 10 kids, but only 6 stayed the night. The owner was very rude to the parents because we didn’t know that if the children aren’t actually staying and listed as guests, they charge an extra $8 per child. That’s fine, but for less than mediocre rooms and shabby swimming facilities, I think they could have been a little less rude, especially at $420/night for two basic rooms.

“Staff was very pleasant and helpful. They went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable.”

The location was great and the parking lot was easy to find. However, the rugs needed more cleaning and the overall upkeep could use a bit more attention.

“Not enjoyable”

There wasn’t much to praise. The indoor pool was freezing, the hot tub was only a touch warmer but still brown and grimy. The room seemed to have had previous water damage and the floors felt damp.
