The room was very pleasant, well equipped, the bedding was super (bed width) and the bathroom functional, though the toilet was in the bathroom. We had to head to the airport very early, the departure was unaccompanied and there was no breakfast.

The proximity to the airport—just 6 minutes by car—was great, the shower in the bathroom was large, the bedding comfortable, and the room spotless. The front desk staff were very warm and welcoming, and there was nothing negative.

It feels like stepping into the Middle Ages! The hotel’s rich historic setting gives it a lot of charm. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are modernized, balancing new and fresh with a hint of the old‑world “German village hotel” feel (lots of wood and built to last). It’s a bit different and that’s appreciated. Parking is free and in a secure spot, which is great if you’re traveling and don’t want to unload your car. The only downside is the breakfast selection is somewhat limited, which was a bit disappointing given the hotel’s overall opulent vibe.

A charming hotel with traditional architecture, warm reception, closed on‑site parking, immaculate cleanliness, excellent breakfast, and a superb on‑site gourmet restaurant—all in a lovely small village with good value for money.

The room was very quiet, spotless, and the beds were super comfy; the staff were friendly and helpful, parking was available at the hotel, and the breakfast was excellent. Nothing else to add.
