The best about Plumpton Court is Chris and Jenny – fabulous hosts who know how to cook a great breakfast. The location was a perfect base for us to explore York, the moors and the picturesque seaside towns. The shower is on the small side, which is more than made up for with attention to detail.

A hearty breakfast got us ready for a day of walking, and the location was perfect for exploring the countryside and nearby villages and towns. Nothing needed changing; everything was spot on.

The place was spotless and fully equipped, with hangers in the wardrobe and hooks on the doors—something rare in other spots. Breakfast was hot, tasty, and offered plenty of options, and Jenny and Chris were genuinely friendly and helpful.
