We were pleasantly surprised by the “Alte Scheune” accommodation. The atmosphere was very nice, full of comfort, yet you could still tell the building was originally a barn. The breakfast had nothing to complain about. I deducted one point because both the bathroom and the room had scented items placed on the floor (some hidden discreetly in the room) that caused me headaches.

The staff were very helpful. The large hotel room was stylish and comfortable, with cozy beds and a sitting area, a desk with a power strip for phone and iPad—everything was there. The walk‑in shower was spacious and modern. The breakfast buffet was generous and even catered to vegans. The tea kitchen with fridge, freezer, coffee machine, dishes, drinks in the cozy lounge was perfect for a longer stay, and smokers were also well accommodated. Small tables, chairs and ashtrays were placed outside the inn. Nothing negative.
