“Mystras beautiful location”
A stunning hotel with striking architecture and top‑class finishes, the Byzantine vibe shows in every corner. The rooms are roomy, tastefully designed, and fully equipped. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is generous and beautifully arranged, with excellent coffee and bread. We messed up our booking dates and arrived a day late, but the team moved our reservation forward at no extra cost, which we really appreciated. The spot is great for exploring Mystras. On the downside, a big American wedding party caused a lot of noise around the bungalows, pool, and restaurant, and the music by the pool was constantly too loud. If you want a quiet stay, this might not suit you since the hotel seems geared toward larger groups. The lifeguard spent too much time at the bar instead of supervising. We were uneasy about the many cameras inside and outside the hotel, some apparently aimed at pool guests, with no clear info on CCTV usage or privacy compliance. The hotel should consider a smoke‑free policy; smoking near the pool and on room terraces disturbs others and raises wildfire risks. The hotel also needs to cut single‑use plastics—water bottles, straws, disposable cups, and small toiletry containers are out of step with modern standards. A forward‑thinking hotel should adopt greener options. We also wondered why Russian instructions were displayed at breakfast; given the current European climate, that seemed odd.
