The hotel sits right in the heart of Valletta, close to shops, cafés, and attractions, and the breakfast and rooms are good. It does get a bit noisy in the evenings, as the building is on Market Street, which stays lively until 1am.

There was nothing positive to mention. We had to pass through a restaurant and take an elevator to the first floor to reach the reception desk. After checking in, we were shown to a room that was only about 1 metre from the reception area. Inside, we found no window—just a shutter that opened onto the reception. When we pointed out the lack of a window, we were told the room was advertised as an inner view, which we had understood to mean a courtyard view with natural light, not the reception. We were offered an alternative room at an additional 100 Euro, which we declined and left to find another hotel.

The location is great and the room is well equipped; the bathroom is decent and the breakfast each morning is tasty with fresh ingredients. The towel in the bathroom on our first day was already worn out and tore every time we used it, and the mattress was so thin that I could feel the wooden slats whenever I turned over.

The location could not have been better, and the staff were lovely; the included breakfast was great. The room was charming, as was the hotel overall, and I would definitely stay again. I was told it was an interior room with no window, which I might have avoided if I had known; rooms that face the street can be a bit loud in this very lively area full of fun people, so perhaps our room was perfect. Arriving before check‑in let us leave luggage, and the same was true for check‑out. The restaurant offers dining inside or outside, and the food is amazing. Nothing to complain about—everything was perfect.
