The hosts were super friendly and helpful, giving us great restaurant tips, details about the ghats, ceremonies, boat rides, and even a ride to the airport. The room was cozy, comfortable, and had air‑conditioning, and we had a wonderful time at Shiva Guest House.

I was happy to find the hotel right next to the Ganges, making it a breeze to visit the Ganga Aarti, and the staff were very friendly, which was a big plus. Unfortunately, the bed sheets weren't clean and bugs kept flying into the room.

The cleanliness, the location, and especially the friendliness and willingness to help stood out; I had an early train and, since there was no availability at that hour, the staff took me by motorcycle to the station even though it was still night. Nothing else to mention.
