The front‑desk guy was rude, and I saw a pimp and his prostitute in the parking lot who left as soon as they noticed me getting out of my car in uniform. There was no Wi‑Fi, the fridge door wouldn’t close and I had to block it with my gear bag.

Nothing. The person who checked me in treated me like a convict. Thought I was going to jail, not a room I paid for. Told me at least 6 times, you and you alone are to be in this room, no visitors or guest. The carpet was wet, the bathroom had mold all around the shower. Everything in the room was on its last leg. Chairs wobbled. Bed sheets dirty. I mean come on

It was exactly what we needed, but a hurricane hit during our stay, which was not the motel’s fault.

The room was cozy and right next to a car in the parking lot, and the location was awesome, but the front‑desk guy seemed to have very little desire to help people and appeared annoyed when I spoke to him.
