The Blue Water - Geoffrey Bawa Heritage Resort Hotel

The room was very nice and spacious with a lovely layout and a top view. The pool was huge, the gym good, the tennis courts nice, and the beach clean. Small issues: we barely got any info about what the hotel offers during the intro, the buffet didn’t label spicy dishes, and we had to fight for about a 15 % discount on food at check‑out, which was annoying.

The space was open and the staff were good, but the meals were only average.

The presidential suite was an absolute delight.

“Great place to for a few days if you’ve already had your fill of the local culture.”

The colonial vibe was great, and the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets offered excellent value. There were two decent‑sized pools, and the staff—especially Dana, Mihako, and Spenser—were outstanding. The beach was dirty, and there was nothing to do or see outside the hotel.
