Ruby Bea Hotel Florence

“Great location and FANTASTIC Staff.”

Staff were great, consistently upbeat and super helpful, working well together as a team. My favorites were Kia, Denise, Margo, Diego, Glenda and Ida. The shower left something to be desired – had to climb over the tub and there were no grab bars.

“Quirky, friendly vibe”

The vibe was nice, quirky yet comfortable and clean. I loved the Apperitivo hour. The room was spacious and quiet, and the galley area was handy for making hot drinks. The only drawback was that it was a bit too far from the central sights; I should have paid more attention when booking.

“Chambre Wow avec balcon”

The room was huge and VERY bright! It was really beautiful with its long hallway leading to a small balcony, and the sunrise was stunning! Breakfast was quite complete and tasty. It’s right in front of tram line t2, making it easy to reach the airport. The only downside was that it’s a bit far on foot from the center, taking about 20 to 30 minutes in the morning and evening. There’s a lack of storage for such a large room. The bedding and pillows were a bit hard.

Both the hotel and the room were in excellent condition, and the cleaning was always done well. All staff were super friendly and attentive. Regarding location, it’s a bit away from the historic center, but you can walk there easily. There’s a train stop that departs from the airport and stops right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was good. The downside was that there are some restaurants next to the hotel where people talk on the street; they close around 23 h, so there’s no noise until late. The hotel has three elevators by zones. Moving between zones is a bit labyrinthine; in my case, it was easier to enter the elevator directly from the street than to circulate inside the hotel.
