The historic building is beautiful and close to everything, and the room is huge with plenty of old furniture and is clean; the building’s history is also lovely. However, the carpet was ripped, the mattress was very uncomfortable, we only got one pack of biscuits to share instead of one each like at other hotels, the shower lacked a mat and felt unsafe, and the Wi‑Fi didn’t work in the room.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, but the room was small and quite tired.

The welcome was very friendly, we were shown to our room and received help; the same warm welcome happened at breakfast, and the breakfast was great and tasty. The church outside has a clock that chimes, which some people might find disturbing, but it didn’t really affect my stay.

Friendly staff Good breakfast comfy bed relatively cheap clean good atmosphere and atheistic history. Room was a little small but fine for a single person
