The atmosphere is genuinely welcoming, almost like staying with a friend, and the owner is very nice, giving a great recommendation. The Japanese‑style room with tatami and futon is a great experience, though not ideal for a longer stay. The area is very quiet and close to the beach.

Sato is very friendly, and along with Fischer we were able to try sea snails and mackerel sashimi on a rare occasion. The room is set up simply with futon on tatami mats, and there are also capsules. In the communal kitchen with a fridge you can cook for yourself, or you can visit the local eateries on the lovely beach promenade.

The building felt like a renovated old house, still keeping a hint of its traditional vibe, but it was clean and stylish, which I really liked. Every part—from the room to the kitchen, toilet, and shower—was spotless and shiny. The place is quiet, so if you’re hoping to throw a loud party, it’s probably not the right spot.
