The central location is excellent, the room is clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable, and breakfast choices are good. The host stayed in touch with us. The shower fitting leaked a bit and needs fixing or replacing, but otherwise everything was fine.

The spot is fantastic, and the little terrace on Piazza Archimede is the real bonus. Ortigia is gorgeous, and the hotel’s position lets you experience the whole area. The historic building’s toilet drainage is problematic, as the owner mentioned, and parking is quite far and expensive.

The location is beautiful in the center of the attractions. Water cuts and old towels that didn’t inspire confidence in cleanliness were a problem.

The location was great, right in the old town with short walks everywhere, and communication was easy and timely. The staff were straightforward and friendly. The room was very clean, and at check‑out a person was present to collect the tourist tax and hand over the key. However, there were many steps to get into the accommodation—stairs at the entrance, stairs into the room, stairs into the bathroom—making it unsuitable for people with mobility issues.
