The location is just off the road, and Pool Place looks lovely. The Danish reception lady was exceptional, especially when handling some very weary, well‑practiced professional moaners/wingers! The room was large and nice. Breakfast was poor, the building is under renovation, and the photos of the place are a little misleading.

The location was okay. The rooms were run down, unclean, with old greasy‑smelling bedding and towels. The pool water was dirty. The bathroom flooded because the toilet leaked. We booked superior pool‑view rooms, but there was no pool view and the rooms were not superior. We asked to be moved, and the helpful staff did so, but the new rooms were not much better.

I didn’t find anything good; the place doesn’t even come close to a four‑star hotel, and we’ve stayed at two‑ and three‑star places that live up to their ratings, unlike this worn‑out, dirty hotel.
