Private Room on Donegall Road in Central Belfast

The room is very good and not far from the city center. The quality isn’t the best, but for the price it’s very good. The €70 deposit required after paying the room price is returned without much hassle, yet it feels quite unfair, as most people only realize it after paying for the room.

“Kind staff, but make sure that you need to pay deposit outside of booking.com”

The staff and host were quick and friendly, and the room was fine; the deposit was refunded quickly. I was surprised that I had to send the deposit outside the usual process; the host’s message was correct, and my booking said an extra deposit was required. I missed that detail because I'd never been asked before. The description claimed the deposit would be charged 14 days before the stay, yet I got the notice only the day before and the free‑cancellation deadline had already passed, which felt unfair. If the deposit could be paid earlier, that would have been better.

“Best Place in South Belfast by a mile.”

The location is very close to Belfast City Centre and even East Belfast, but far enough to feel local. Being in the middle of Sandy Row gave me a slight bias toward the loyalists, yet it’s still a great hub if you want to walk around South Belfast and explore the city. Bus and bike lanes are nearby, and the amenities are always clean. The only gripe was that other tenants didn’t close the gate properly, but that’s not the owner’s fault, so I’m not blaming him. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay, and it was sad to leave this Belfast location.
