The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! We loved having our own bungalow, which gave us plenty of privacy. There was nothing else to complain about.

I stayed in a grand bungalow that was spotlessly clean, and the owner, who doesn’t speak English, was easy to communicate with using Google Translate. He was very accommodating and let us keep the bungalow longer than expected until our train left. The property itself isn’t well maintained, especially the pool area, which looks nothing like the photo; the sun‑tanned loungers and tiles are faded. The hotel is far from the city center.

The place is a small setup away from the bustle of Vang Vieng. Staff speak very little English but try hard to get the message across. The pool is small but still lets you cool off. During the rainy season the room gets damp.

There are little independent bungalows in a Lao style with air‑conditioning and fans. It’s very quiet out in the countryside. A small refreshing pool sits in the garden. We were greeted by two young couples who are very friendly but don’t speak English at all, so everything was handled via WhatsApp. The hotel is quite far from Vang Vieng’s center – 4‑5 km – and you need a tuk‑tuk to get back each time. The rooms are clean but very plain, a bit dark, and get very humid during the rainy season because there’s no permanent ventilation. The breakfast menu is fairly limited and there’s no option for a continental breakfast.
