Hotel Orazia occupies the top floor of a early 20th-century building in Rome's Piazza Vittorio Emanuele square, 20 metres from Vittorio Emanuele Metro Station. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms with marble floors, satellite TVs, minibars, and private bathrooms. Some rooms overlook the square's central gardens. A daily buffet breakfast is served, with views of the Coliseum, 10 minutes away, and proximity to Rome Termini Station and Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica.

The location was excellent—within walking distance to the train station, the Colosseum, city center, and the metro. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast looked appealing, though you have to specify your time slot each day in advance. The furnishings and the room/bathroom felt rather rustic and dated, but they did the job.

The place was well situated. However, getting to the reception was not very convenient; there was an old elevator that could only carry three or four people at a time, and the reception was on the fifth floor.

The staff were lovely and super helpful. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily. The shower head was broken, making it hard to shower properly. The fridge in the room was broken and there was only one socket available to charge our phones.

The only decent thing was the location, but everything else was awful—an absolute nightmare. Don't waste your money, and the hotel should have better oversight of its facilities and staff, who are rude and unhelpful, always wearing grim faces. For the price you could get something far better; this is honestly a 2‑star or lower establishment. The price‑quality ratio is disappointing, the facilities are very old and poorly maintained. In the rooms, the closet wasn’t cleaned properly, the toilet was dirty and disgusting, the bathtub was in bad shape, the sink was clogged, and they didn’t keep the rooms maintained. The access badge didn’t work from the main entrance or the room doors; I reported it, but it wasn’t taken seriously until the third time. The breakfast staff treated you poorly and had a bad attitude; you couldn’t finish your breakfast before they started removing items. The breakfast was very simple—eggs, bacon, and sausage—and they pressured you to finish. The elevator was in terrible condition and took a long time to arrive. Residents of the building are fed up with this hotel because they don’t attend to service and everyone complains about the facilities; I saw it myself.

La ubicación excelente y el personal un 10. La habitación 519 donde nos quedamos tenía feo olor en el baño, como a cloaca y no tenía ventilación la habitación , además perdía el inodoro y se formaban charcos
