The location right next to the sights was perfect, and especially the hospitality and service from Amine were fantastic—he was ready to personally guide you to his 'Dar' from the moment you arrived in Fez, always smiling and ready for anything you might need. However, if you’re on the street side, you can sometimes hear street noise; earplugs made it easy to deal with.

The stay was very enjoyable, with Amine always attentive to everything. The terrace was wonderful, offering views of the medina where you could relax, rest, and disconnect. The only downside was the steep stairs, though that’s understandable given the house’s architecture.

Amine was super helpful and very accommodating throughout our stay. We loved having breakfast and dinner on the rooftop terrace overlooking the medina; the meals were excellent.

“Petit paradis à la Medina de Fez”

We had a superb stay at Dar Chrif Idrissi, greatly enhanced by Amine’s exceptional care, attentive listening, and wise advice. It was very comfortable to enjoy a sumptuous local dinner each evening, prepared by a Fez cook—tagine, couscous, and more delighted our palates. Breakfast was hearty and local. We could access the building’s rooftop with a beautiful view and the sound of birds. The accommodation is in the medina, just steps from the Seffarine Square gate. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return.
