The room was very nice and tidy, with a fridge, kettle and air‑conditioning. We got a continental breakfast that included plenty of croissants and some yoghurts. The bathroom was a bit small but fine for a one‑night stay. The hosts were friendly and very helpful; they offered to store our luggage and then drove us to Cagliari.

The room had a window that faced the hallway, so there was no view of the outside and no fresh air or direct daylight. If you don’t want other guests to see you, the curtains must stay closed, which feels bunker‑like. We were given a key for the front door. The front door was always open and we were told we couldn’t lock it from the inside because we didn’t have a key and other guests might be prevented from entering. That means we rely on everyone else to follow the rule and not be excluded. (The owners are not on site.) Breakfast was very basic and consisted of pre‑packed ready‑made items. We used the airport shuttle they offered; they asked us to hand the money in cash to the driver in the car, not after getting off at the airport. We’re not sure if they need a taxi licence or why we had to pay “secretly.” At the end of our stay they asked us to give a top rating if we were satisfied, stressing how important the highest score was to them. That probably explains the high reviews on Booking and Google. On the positive side: the accommodation was very clean and very close to the airport.
