“Es INACEPTABLE que a las 17:00 h. esté cerrado el hotel y tarden media hora en acudir”
The staff at reception was kind after I waited on the street for half an hour. We arrived at 17:00 and the hotel entrance was locked with no one inside, a contact number on the glass. We’re talking about a two‑star city hotel. After six calls to that number with no answer, I got a WhatsApp saying someone would arrive in 15 minutes to open the door and give us the room number, because we had already booked through Booking. In total we waited half an hour for someone to arrive. We were given room 204. The water shut‑off valve for the toilet cistern was closed because opening it caused water to keep flowing, and there was only one set of towels, even though it’s a double room for two people. We asked for a room change and were given 304, the same as before but on a higher floor. This is the first time I’ve seen a room with only one socket, and it was occupied by the TV and the hotel fridge hidden behind a table, impossible to access without moving the table, which also held the fridge, so I had to use the socket in the bathroom.
