The dinner had so much volume that I couldn’t finish it; the sea view from the lobby, the room, and the bath was amazing, and the family bath on the fifth floor was comfortable. The only downside was that you have to lay the futon yourself, but I usually sleep on a bed so that was fine.

It was a wonderful Japanese reception. The dinner was varied and plentiful, and they explained everything that was served with great enthusiasm. The service was extraordinary. It was our first onsen visit and the other guests explained everything. I had imagined sleeping on a futon worse than this. Thanks to the origami lady.

The weather was not great, but the location was good! The staff were friendly. The walls seemed thin, so you could hear the doors opening and closing, and even the sound of the sliding doors, which made it hard to settle down at night. The indoor bath at the onsen was a bit hot and I couldn't get in. The hair dryer’s airflow was weak.

Being right off the Higashisanriku Expressway interchange made it very convenient, and the sea view was excellent; dinner featured local specialties that satisfied us in taste and portion, the bath was relaxing and comfortable, and the staff were bright, meticulous and friendly, plus we enjoyed the foot‑bath. The souvenir shop felt a bit sparse, though the nearby roadside station probably covered most guests’ shopping needs.
