The staff were wonderful and welcoming, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was beautiful. The bath exceeded my expectations, and they were very accommodating with my dietary requirements for breakfast. I loved the stay so much that I booked another room later in my trip.

This was the absolute highlight of our trip to Japan! We spent one night in a room with a private bathroom, a private Onsen, and included breakfast and dinner. My full review is here - https://thehappydaystravels.com/best-ryokan-in-kyoto-japan/

It’s beautiful. The staff were the best part, so attentive and special with every detail. To me it was perfect.

Great location for exploring the city. The bed and seating for dinner and breakfast were very uncomfortable for me, and I even developed a back strain. I understand the traditional adherence, but it was too much for me.
