This was the worst vacation experience I've ever had. It’s not a place to stay at all. The owners, a lady and her husband, don’t even live here, so if you run into trouble you have to solve it yourself. No one was there for check‑in, so I begged a guy in the nearby supermarket for help. At first he refused, but I later saw him using the shower at the so‑called restaurant. He eventually gave me the keys. The next day there was no breakfast because the lady had an important religious ceremony, and the same happened on the last day of my checkout. She simply said “today no breakfast!” The breakfast that was offered was a very basic option, completely different from the photos. For three of the four nights, power was cut from about 17:00 to 22:30, and on the night before checkout it lasted from 14:00 to 22:30. I spent all nights alone in that awful place with no other guests or the owners present. The small resort next door had power all the time thanks to motor engines, and even the supermarket guy had power, but I kept my distance to avoid trouble. Only on the last night, around 19:00 during the outage, was the owner present. I asked how long until power returned, and she just repeated “go sleep.” I’m not sure if she didn’t understand me or was pretending not to. Even using a translator didn’t help until I said I needed a taxi after checkout. Suddenly she understood me perfectly and even negotiated the price with me.

Less than a ten‑minute walk to Kelingking, the rooms were clean and comfortable with a nice garden view, a great shower, and cozy beds. The amenities were very basic.

The place has a great location and an amazing owner. The room feels very pleasant and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The restaurant on the upper floor offers a beautiful view and excellent food.

We enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing stay. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the whole property exudes a peaceful, soothing vibe. The garden is stunning and impeccably maintained. The spot is perfect, just a five‑minute walk from the famed Kelingking Beach, which was super convenient for us. A special shout‑out to the lovely lady at the property—she was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout, always smiling and radiating positive energy that made us feel truly welcome. The hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit. We’d definitely recommend Palma House Kelingking to anyone heading to Nusa Penida. Thanks for everything!
