“リーズナブルなのに居心地の良い素晴らしい宿”
I stayed in a simple but spacious room with lovely décor that was spotless. The bathtub filled well, and there were a hairdryer, bath towels for the room, and a separate pool towel. Water was supplied in a pitcher, along with cups, glasses, and tea bags. The pool was clean and comfortable. Even though construction was happening next door, it didn’t bother me much. Toast at breakfast was a bit dry, but the hot sandwich was delicious, and there was so much fruit I couldn’t finish. Japanese‑speaking staff were always around to help, and even those who didn’t speak Japanese were kind. When I requested laundry, they rushed it. Any unfamiliar item, like the safe or sink plug, was quickly addressed when I asked, making my stay pleasant. I was on the second floor. The bathtub’s water pressure was good, but switching to the shower made the pressure drop noticeably, and rinsing shampoo took a while. A lizard—or something like it—was in the room and made a loud, funny noise; I laughed every time I heard it. Mosquitoes entered through the balcony when it opened and bit me while I slept. I had a mosquito mat, but there was no repellent to put in it, so I endured the bites at night. The building’s walls seemed thin, so I could hear outside voices, but I didn’t hear any from neighboring rooms, as if they were absent or silent. Amenities such as a toothbrush or body soap were missing, so I had to bring my own. I knew from reviews that the road to the hotel was narrow and uneven, and it felt more secluded than I expected, which worried me a bit when I arrived late at night. Motorbikes couldn’t pass by, so I had to avoid the narrow spot, but that was normal for Ubud. Overall, considering the price and location, it’s a wonderful place and I’d stay again when I visit Ubud. Highly recommended.
