Bigo Guest House

The host was the most generous, welcoming, and friendly person I’ve ever met. We arrived in heavy rain with wet luggage, and she wiped them down. She left lovely snacks on our door—Genovese focaccia and pandolce biscuits—on two separate occasions. Every day she greeted us with the warmest smile and asked if we needed anything. The whole place is kept absolutely spotless and very well‑maintained. It’s across from buses, a taxi stand, and the metro, with plenty of good food nearby and all the attractions within reach—very convenient. Nothing to complain about.

The location is literally on the corner of the old center. The shower cabin is a bit small.

Clean, very pretty apartment. Well insulated, quiet despite the noisy neighborhood. No parking. For a B&B, the second breakfast option is missing: only coffee and tea, plus 2‑3 fruits, no breakfast or space to prepare it. We found cutlery but no plates. The bathroom is very small, not suitable for larger people. The 25 m² includes a corridor and the bathroom. The price is not justified.

The apartment was truly gorgeous, spacious and well sound‑proofed. It was very comfortable and spotless. The location was perfect for the city centre and the harbour, with a metro stop nearby. The owner was warm and very helpful, replying promptly at any time. The only downside was the price, which felt a bit steep for a private bathroom that was outside the room, and for the breakfast set that was only available in the common area. It was a weekend during the Sail Salon, so that might explain the higher rate.

“Fantasic!”

The lady running the guest house was exceptionally kind. The rooms were tidy and charming, and even though our bathroom wasn’t in our room it was very clean and private. I’ll be back.
