Having a little creek nearby, the mini‑rolls and the pool were nice, yet the salmon at breakfast was terrible, the room felt stuffy, it was far too small for a dog, a towel was ripped in the middle, there was no natural lake—just a tiny chlorinated basin, a bottle of water cost €7.20, and the minibar was empty, contradicting the hotel flyer.

“Sehr angenehmes Hotel für Businessaufenthalt”

The place was idyllic with the copper river, the building was beautiful, the sauna area (with water and tea) and indoor pool were top quality, the outdoor natural pool had loungers, homemade breakfast jams were excellent, the soft‑cooked breakfast eggs and fresh scrambled eggs were great, the hosts’ sustainability mindset was appreciated, and the breakfast/ dinner restaurant had fresh flowers. The rooms in the Kaufmannshaus were older but clean. Unfortunately there were no fresh bakery rolls or homemade rolls, the sourdough bread was not fluffy enough and felt old, I missed the scent in the sauna steam, there was only a “GreenOption” free drink for stays longer than three nights without room service, and the sauna hours were limited (until 17–19 h) and the pool hours were limited (17–20 h).

“Freundliches Haus, saubere Zimmer mit toller Küche.”

The staff were all very friendly, greeting us with smiles and saying goodbye with the same warmth. The breakfast buffet was set up cleanly and there was plenty for everyone. The wellness area looked very nice. The bathroom was rather small, and the shower felt a bit cramped.
