The resort was lovely, with authentic and friendly Exuma locals who made everyone feel welcome. Nothing could be said about it.

The place was spotlessly clean, but the price tag was far too high for what you actually receive; in Europe it would only be a 4‑Star hotel. The staff were very friendly, though the coffee machine sometimes malfunctioned. The food was pricey, and the burrata salad was off, yet it still appeared on the bill. The beach was littered with seaweed and didn’t match the photos.

Unfortunately the sea was covered in algae—the only place on the island with that problem—and it was a real disappointment. The dinner on the 23rd was very nice; we ate there twice and the food was consistently good, and the palapa offered a pleasant quick‑bite option. Apart from the algae, which the hotel can’t control, the only issue was that everything closed early, with the palapa shutting at 9 pm on the 23rd and at 9:30 pm thereafter, leaving no place to eat or drink after that.
