Located in Broughton Astley, Mill On The Soar occupies 5 acres of Leicestershire countryside, featuring 2 rivers, a fishing lake, a large garden with a children's playground and a terrace, on-site bar, and restaurant. The hotel offers free public parking, contemporary rooms with TVs, tea/coffee facilities, private bathrooms, and a wholesome breakfast. Leicester is 24 km away, and Birmingham is a 30-minute drive.

The room did the job, and the staff were excellent. However, there was black mould on the windows, and the windows in the main building could use a clean, both inside and out.

The beer delivery was extremely loud and arrived very early.

The location is good, the room facilities were fine, and breakfast was good. The downside was the noise from the water pumps whenever someone used water or flushed a toilet, and a lamp was missing a bulb.
