The room itself was nice, with a large bathroom and an extra walk‑in closet that proved useful, and I liked the variety of weights in the workout room. We asked for adjoining rooms, but when I called the hotel the morning of our arrival to confirm the reservation, I was told only one room on site had an adjoining option, so I requested rooms close together. We were granted that, but only because I pushed for our group. One of the room doors had a lock that needed new batteries; we had to reactivate our keys every day because they wouldn’t work. On the first day I mentioned the batteries, but was told it was probably just that the key got too close to my phone. On our final day, after breakfast, we were locked out again, and the front desk staff said they would use their master key to let us in. That didn’t work, and at that point I was told there was no maintenance staff on site on weekends. They literally left me stranded in the hallway. Thankfully my kids could go into the other room we had reserved while I waited. Maintenance finally arrived, but he also could not unlock the door. Again, I was left in the hallway when he walked away without saying anything. I still had a key that wasn’t working, so I tried it a few more times while I waited, and it finally unlocked. All to find out the lock needed new batteries. On the morning of check‑out I checked my bank account and saw we had been double‑charged for the rooms. When I went to the front desk to address it, the staff entered a few things and said everything would be fine. 15 minutes later another charge appeared on my account. Needless to say the last day made our experience incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Breakfast was okay, nothing fancy, just the typical free breakfast. Unfortunately the food wasn’t always replenished, so we didn’t have many options. Both rooms had light bulbs that needed replacement, and we didn’t have all the necessary bedding for the trundle bed.

The hotel is close to Notre Dame, but the bathroom was not ADA compliant. Don’t all bathrooms require a grab bar? My mom couldn’t get off the toilet, which was traumatic for her.

I booked a double‑bed room, but when I checked in they gave me a different room. The staff tried sending us to one room and said, “it may or may not be clean, but if not just come down and get a different room.” It was an accessible room with only one bed. I went back down and they offered two single rooms or another room with one bed and a couch. I asked if the couch was a pull‑out sofa and they responded, “if you put the cushions on the ground it is.” Luckily they offered a discount, but the room was booked a month in advance.

Breakfast had limited options. Add more items for breakfast and extend the timing until 9:30 am EST.
