The onsen and morning buffet were great, but the power outlets inside the room were hard to use.

The room and bath were clean and comfortable, but the hotel was far from the station. I arrived late at night, there were no convenience stores nearby, so I got hungry. It would have been helpful if there were vending machines with cup noodles.

It was close to Dazaifu Tenmangu and the parking was free. I could choose from a variety of breakfast options. I didn’t mention that my companion had a weak leg, so moving around was a bit slow and the layout felt maze‑like, which took time to get used to. I enjoyed the cognitive challenge 😊.

The staff were wonderful and the bath really soothed my tired body. The room felt a little dark and old.

The price was reasonable, but the hotel’s location was inconvenient and the building was old. The hot spring water wasn’t pure. My room was in the new building, which was quite inconvenient. What upset me most was that on October 2nd a dark‑skinned male waiter in black glasses at the front desk was extremely rude and disrespectful to guests. At 6:50 AM I went to the front desk to buy breakfast, and he answered questions poorly. I could have clarified instructions elsewhere, but I expected basic respect and a polite tone. I felt it was because I was a native Japanese. In the liquor store industry, customers come from all over the world. I was very unhappy! In Japanese, I would say “gafu‑dong.” After Tadami and I finished the formalities with the staff, we told them we were leaving and asked the first maid to prepare breakfast. How could a waiter be displeased because of my poor English, demanding a face from him, and still be so obsequious? A servant’s attitude should enhance quality of life. In the hotel industry, service work requires good conditions, and good appearance and respect are basic requirements! As a result, I returned to Dazaifu and never saw you at your inn again.
