Excellent stay: the accommodation was very comfortable and the location was great. Breakfast was delicious and Lilja was incredibly kind, welcoming us with open arms. Highly recommend!

Wow, what a vacation. Lilja was insanely friendly and very helpful. Breakfast featured local specialties and homemade bread. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. I was completely satisfied and felt very welcome. I’ll definitely come back.

Lilja and her husband were very friendly hosts, offering a tasty breakfast each morning with the other guests (with whom we shared ideas on the best places to visit) and Lilja gave great local tips. The house is a perfect stop for the northern isles and the lovely village of Fuglafjordur. Both there and Leirvik have nice stores for homemade crafts by locals, including many knitted items! I was disappointed that the tides weren’t in my favor, as Lilja was ready to take me to her favorite swimming spot but it wasn’t possible!

A fantastic spot for anyone who enjoys a Bed and Breakfast in a cozy private house with friendly and helpful hosts, a hearty breakfast, and occasional pleasant chats; I’d love to stay at Lilja again.
