The rooms are nice, the breakfast buffet is good, the high mountain location was a bit tough for some but not terribly so. The hotel has no reception in the evening, which is unusual, and the parking at the hotel could be arranged quite differently.

For a visit to Bamberg this hotel is perfect! We had a very nice room, the breakfast room is ideal and the breakfast is excellent, the staff are exceptionally nice and helpful.

The staff were very friendly, the rooms were well equipped and very clean, the house was quiet and we slept well, the breakfast was plentiful and very good, the hotel is a bit away from the historic old town so older and disabled people rely on a taxi. The reception is only open until 15.00, rooms are available from 15.00, check‑in is more or less online, which could be a hurdle for people without a smartphone or similar.

The bathroom had a strong odor from the waste, there was a parking fee, and the hallway and other rooms were noisy.

The rooms were very nice, breakfast was all there and appealing, a pleasant walk to the cathedral and further into the city took 15 minutes. We had rooms on the 1st floor near the entrance, so we heard the return‑home noise or unfortunately the loud chatter on the terrace.
