A pretty building with cool art, but it felt a bit tired. The shower in our room had mold, and some areas smelled damp. Two out of five main dishes at dinner had hair in them.

The building is beautiful and the grounds are lovely and well kept, but there is no lift.

The location is excellent and the meals are very good, and the old building is lovely. Bathroom privacy in the room was not good, some staff in the dining room and bar were not very receptive, and parking was not great.

The place was nice, the food lovely, and the bar was a good option, but parking was a real let‑down; after already paying over £150 I had to pay again, which felt awful.

The staff, room, and food were amazing; a very polite lady at reception welcomed me and did everything she could, then showed me to my fantastic room, and I later enjoyed a delicious steak followed by homemade sticky‑toffee pudding at the restaurant. I found nothing to dislike.
