The room was advertised as an “ideal place for a peaceful retreat” with a “cozy atmosphere” and a “quiet location,” which was a major reason for our choice. On the day of arrival we discovered a loud reggae concert taking place on the premises. No one informed us during booking or afterward. If we had known about the concert, we would have chosen a different place. The noise practically prevented us from sleeping. Alcohol‑drunk people were present in the hotel, glass from a broken bottle lay in the hall, and a strong smell of alcohol was noticeable. Additionally, the reservation was unclear – the confirmation did not specify whether the booked apartment was in the Palace, Loft, or another part of the property. The biggest issue remains the lack of any information about the concert at a place marketed as “peaceful retreat.”
