Breakfast was fine but the evening meal was poor; the hotel responded to our complaint by removing the cost of the meal from our bill. The distance to the room was long and felt like going down a rabbit warren.

The location was excellent and the staff were very helpful; the bed was big and comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. We had to leave early, but the lady at breakfast was so helpful, quickly making coffee and cooked breakfast and letting us take pastries. Thank you. The car park was hard to find.

Proximity to theatres and the walk-in shower. All the stairs and the narrow corridors. Old-fashioned furniture and limited tv channels. Hotels should provide hypo-allergenic bedding as standard, rather than feather-filled

The overall vibe and staff friendliness were wonderful, breakfast was excellent, and the in‑room amenities were good; a few side rooms could be used for quiet reading. We liked coming back at the end of the evening for a drink, but the bar was in the dining room that was still set up for breakfast, which was a bit confusing.
