“in need of work and cleaning”
The location was great for an overnight stop on the way to the Bilbao Ferry, breakfast was a good option, and parking was free. We arrived at 3.30pm on a Sunday; the only information we received was that breakfast started at 9am. The bar closed at 4pm and from 6pm onward there was no staff present. The room wasn’t clean, the blankets and scatter cushions were stained, the headboard was unsecured and hit the wall, the balcony was covered in weeks‑old bird droppings, the bathroom bin lid was filthy, and the shower bracket was broken and missing, so we had to hold the head ourselves.
