“Buen lugar”

I liked the location for its proximity to the train station and also liked the room layout. Small oversights like the curtain hooks in the room are minor details that could be improved, as well as the reception staff’s lack of empathy. They explained how things worked, led us to the room, and did everything efficiently, but we recommend a better attitude.

“Prisvärt hotell centralt i Gent”

A good value hotel that could easily rank higher; it sits right next to the train station in Ghent, easy to find and a bit fun to walk around. My room was large and spacious with a nice bathroom, and the furnishings had style. Unfortunately, I found leftovers from the previous guest in the fridge, and there was a bar/reception on the ground floor but no one was ever there to take orders, so the hotel could be much better with staff on site.

“Una estancia para olvidar.”

The room was ordinary with a comfortable bed, but the bathroom was a problem because the ceiling was low and you could hit your head near the shower. There were no shower or hand‑washing utensils, and the reception was empty; after waiting a while, a staff member appeared who seemed unsure about whether the room had been charged or not.

The room was small, not very cozy or clean, but the location was excellent and the view from the window was good. There was no staff on site, so I had to wait a long time to check in.
