Everything was fine, but there were very few options for dining or shopping nearby.

The beds were comfy and the room was clean, and the bathroom was roomy. However, there was no Wi‑Fi, which is unacceptable these days; the description promised better internet. The private kitchen and amenities were actually a shared space three floors down, and the room advertised two twin beds and a king bed, but one of those was a fold‑down light bed. The locked intermediate door made it awkward for a family, as only one key was provided. The staircase lighting was broken, making evenings very dark. The kitchen lacked basic items like spices, salt, coffee, and tea, which would have made it more welcoming. The village itself is tiny and offers limited activities; in hindsight, staying in Endingen would have been better for more facilities.

I found the mattresses to be uncomfortable, even needing new pillows.

The staff who welcomed me were very kind and friendly, the place itself is beautiful and welcoming, it’s a quiet spot, and the room was clean and perfect for the excursions we took. No complaints.
