Liongate House

“Lovely stay great location.”

The room was beautifully presented, the spot was excellent, a short walk to the main town with pubs and restaurants, the hosts were very friendly and breakfast was excellent, but the tiles in the bathroom were very slippery.

The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming; the facilities were absolutely fantastic—quiet, comfortable, well‑cared‑for rooms with meticulous attention to every traveller’s need; the breakfast was exceptionally fine, served around a sociable table in the garden; everything about the visit was memorable, especially the excellent Italian meal we had the previous evening in Ilchester; thanks so much to Liz and Graham; we hope to visit again. “Très bonne adresse à conseiller vivement !”

The Liongate House is easy to access with on‑site parking. The great cleanliness of the house is very appreciated as is the welcome from Liz and Graeme. We enjoyed the welcome tea and cake, as well as the delicious homemade breakfast. Nothing was wrong, everything was perfect.

“Most welcoming B&B ever!”

The most welcoming B&B we’ve ever been to! The hosts were such lovely people! The room was beautifully clean with everything you could want! The garden was absolutely stunning and the hosts even offered to set up our breakfast outside, which we did and it was an absolutely perfect breakfast! I have a milk allergy and they were completely prepared for it with alternatives ready to make my breakfast just as great as everyone else’s. I would definitely recommend and would go back there if we’re ever in the area again!
