Galatis Beach Hotel in Aliki boasts direct beachfront access, a sun-kissed sun terrace, and a lush garden offering breathtaking sea views. Spacious rooms feature air-conditioning, balconies, and private bathrooms, as well as kitchenettes and free WiFi in public areas. The family-friendly restaurant serves Greek cuisine, and a pool bar and outdoor seating area provide a relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel is saved by its seaside location with a splendid view and the beach right next to it. It feels like the 60s, with a tiny shower that isn’t very clean, potentially dangerous power outlets, pallid lights, only a single sheet on the mattress with no protection, a breakfast that is not at all like the photos with very few options, and poor insulation.

The hotel’s location is one-of-a-kind, and the staff genuinely try to make your stay pleasant. There are beach chairs you can bring with you, and the pool area offers plenty of loungers, shower facilities, and toilets. The on‑site restaurant serves food and drinks, and breakfast probably reflects local customs, which might differ from what we’re used to. From the hotel, you can reach the Aliki harbor—where you’ll find various restaurants and bus connections to other parts of the island—in about 10 minutes by water. The hosts and staff were helpful, and contrary to earlier reviews, we didn’t find the room or shower dirty, nor were the towels unwashed. We could see ourselves returning. The only hiccup was that you have to understand that Greek rating categories may differ from those in Germany, which didn’t bother us significantly.

The location is absolutely perfect, right on the beach with sandy shore, clean water, and friendly locals. Aliki is a small, nice town, and the outdoor areas are enjoyable. The owner is welcoming. Breakfast was disappointing: very basic, no fresh fruit, no local products.
