The authentic vibe, garden, and balcony shade are great for relaxing. It's a bit informal, and the host asks guests to walk barefoot or in socks and keep noise down. The house is traditionally built with hardwood floors and thin walls, so it’s a bit drafty, but that never became a real issue.

I first booked a single room in the cottage, but ants appeared inside, so I asked for a change and they gladly switched rooms without extra cost, which I appreciated. Ayutthaya is naturally insect‑heavy, so it’s inevitable that bugs show up inside rooms; while not serious, those who dislike insects might prefer a hotel closer to the city center.
