Our host Dorian made our stay in Cape Town incredibly pleasant; since we flew back to the Netherlands late at night, we could use all the hotel facilities all day, and he gave us great tips for visiting Cape Town. Cactusberry is also in a very nice neighbourhood with restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and the breakfast is excellent. Nothing to complain about.

This was our fourth visit—three times under the former owner, but we felt just as comfortable with Dorian. The place is so cozy and quiet, with a great room that has plenty of space and is impeccably clean. The large common room is very comfortable, and the small sun terrace offers a view of Table Mountain. We booked without breakfast this time because there are many great cafés nearby that we wanted to try. Once we had breakfast at the guesthouse, which was very good and plentiful as always, lovingly prepared by Shahida, the former owner’s pearl. It’s nice that he took it over. Dorian is very relaxed and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay; the room was very spacious, and the beds were large and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety. The manager gave us many helpful tips, and thank you for letting us check in early without any issues.
