The bed and breakfast is a hidden gem in the centre of Gouda; the room is spacious yet cosy and well decorated. Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit, warm bread, and fresh orange juice. The owners were kind and understanding, even though we made them wait for a while before arrival because of personal circumstances. We could use the parking permit at a very reasonable price, which was nice since regular parking in the city centre is expensive. The steep stairs were mentioned beforehand and did not bother us.

A beautifully furnished old house with plenty of space. Small snacks and tea/coffee were available in the room, and the bathroom was generous. The breakfast was very good and individually tailored. The host Sandra was super nice and helpful. Bicycles could be stored in the workshop. The very narrow and steep staircase could be a problem for some guests, but it did not bother us; it’s just part of the old house.
